Winter Break Workshops! 

Our winter break workshops have concluded. For our spring session of classes, that start late Jan/early Feb, please visit the "Spring Classes" tab.

improv day! 

Ages 10-18, All levels of experience welcome

1 Day Workshop, Tues Jan 2 2024, 12pm-3pm

In-Person, 4500 E Speedway Blvd #18

Instructor: Kristen Wheeler

Cost: $35

20% off for club members

Students will learn some fun, new Improv games in this afternoon workshop. Improv is a ton of fun, and is important for any aspiring actor teaching acting skills, stage presence, and helps with level of comfort onstage. Improv teaches collaboration and team work as well.

playwrights + actors workshoP: scenes & monologues

Ages 12-18, Some prior acting experience recommended

1 Day Workshop, Wed Jan 3 2024, 10:00am-2:00pm

In-Person, 4500 E Speedway Blvd #18

Instructor: Polly Schlitz 

Cost: $50

20% off for club members

Students will spend the morning writing monologues or short scenes. In the afternoon, they will either act or direct a scene or monologue to be performed at the end of the day.  This  workshop explores advanced acting techniques and is more geared towards high school age actors, and some prior acting experience is recommended.

play in a Day: ages 7-12

Ages 7-12, All levels of experience welcome

1 Day Workshop, Thurs Jan 4 2024 10:00am-3:00pm

In-Person, 4500 E Speedway Blvd #18

Instructor: Carrie Silverman

Cost: $60

20% off for club members

Students will help create their own play, while learning acting skills, and perform their play to conclude the workshop.

Play in A Day: ages 11-18 

Ages 11-18, All levels of experience welcome

1 Day Workshop, Friday Jan 5, 2024 9:00am-4:30pm

In-Person, 4500 E Speedway Blvd #18

Instructor: Kristen Wheeler

Cost: $90

20% off for club members

Students will write their own original play, learn acting and play writing skills, and perform the play at the end of the workshop.  This workshop is more advanced material than the ages 7-12 workshop, 11-12 year olds are welcome to sign up for either (or both) depending on the best fit for their skill level.

Dungeons & Dragons game day workshop
