Students will learn some fun, new Improv games in this afternoon workshop. Improv is a ton of fun, and is important for any aspiring actor teaching acting skills, stage presence, and helps with level of comfort onstage. Improv teaches collaboration and team work as well. 

Students will learn some audition techniques and perform cold readings and/or monologues.  This workshop is a great way to get some practice for our camp auditions, and meet some fellow camp students before their camp session starts! 

Students will choose songs from Broadway musicals to sign in a song showcase to conclude the day. 

Students will write their own original play, learn acting and play writing skills, and perform the play at the end of the workshop.  This workshop is more advanced material than the ages 7-12 workshop, 11-12 year olds are welcome to sign up for either (or both) depending on the best fit for their skill level.
