Intro to Acting: Christmas Play

Polar Express themed Christmas play

Students will create a short play based on Polar Express, learn acting skills and play theatre games. Session will conclude with a live performance.

Harry Potter themed play

Students will write their own original play inspired by Harry Potter, learn acting and play writing skills, and perform the play at the end of the workshop.

Students will learn some fun, new Improv games in this afternoon workshop. Improv is a ton of fun, and is important for any aspiring actor teaching acting skills, stage presence, and helps with level of comfort onstage. Improv teaches collaboration and team work as well.

This workshop is more advanced material than the ages 7-12 workshop, 11-12 year olds are welcome to sign up for either (or both) depending on the best fit for their skill level.

Students will learn acting basics and play theatre and improv games. This workshop is intended for young actors newer to theatre. They will learn skills needed for any aspiring actor and play games to practice those skills and become comfortable on the stage.
