Performing arts education in Tucson
Summer camp update 5/12: In consideration of everyone's health and safety, June camps have been replaced with online classes! Since these classes are online, students outside of Tucson are now welcome to sign up!
We hope that everyone can be understanding of these changes in this difficult time. We are prepared with precautions for in-person camps, but feel that it's best at this current time to stick with online classes. Online classes will be group video chat classes on Zoom, with a focus on connecting with each other and creating together. We know that students desire the socialization and friendships that they get from in-person camps, and we will focus on still providing them with that, just safely from home.
For June, each camp has been turned into an online class. If you had already registered and paid for June in-person camp, please let us know by email if your students are able to participate in the class (and if they would like to add any more classes. Since online classes are less expensive, if your total for the classes chosen is less than what you had paid for camps (or are unable to participate), we will refund the rest, either in cash or a credit for future camps and classes.
Looking for a way to help out a local theatre during this difficult time of COVID-19 business closures? We're offering a special deal: sign a student up for a club membership now through 5/31/20 and the membership will go all the way thru 12/31/21. Normally a 1 year membership, that's 9 months free! The membership is $100 for ages 11+ and $75 for ages 10 and under, and gets the student 20% of all camps/classes/workshops thru 12/31/21. Purchasing the membership now will help us to pay our rent, electric, and insurance that we still pay on our studio even while our doors are closed.
We understand many of our Troubadour families have been affected financially by COVID-19. We still offer scholarships for any student in need, as we don't want any student who wants to participate to have to miss out for financial reasons. We have created a new, easier online scholarship form.
In addition to scholarships, we offer discounts for early registration, siblings, club members, and students signing up for multiple classes.
